We are Jesus Special Kids. We make hand-drawn Bible story films for children and their families. This notice explains what we collect when you use jesusspecialkids.com, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- When you join: your first name and email address, and your children's age groups if you choose to give them. We never ask for a child's email.
- When you reply on Blog Family: your reply, the name you give, and your email address. Your reply and name are shown on the site once our team approves them. Your email is never shown.
- When you use Contact Us: your name, email, country, reason, subject and message.
- On your device: a cookie that keeps you signed in to Blog Family for a year, and your Day or Night choice. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- New-post emails: our email service tells us whether an email was opened or a link was clicked, so we know what families find useful.
Why we use it
- To send you new stories and taster videos, which you asked for when you joined.
- To let you into Blog Family, and to show your replies.
- To answer your messages.
We rely on your consent. You can take it back at any time by unsubscribing or deleting your details (below).
Who else handles it
- Netlify hosts the website and stores Blog Family replies, messages and members.
- Resend keeps our mailing list and sends our emails.
- Cloudflare delivers our advert videos, and YouTube plays some taster videos.
Some of these companies are based outside the UK. They protect your data with safeguards that UK law approves. We never sell your details or share them with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you're a member. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, we remove them. Messages are kept only as long as we need them to help you.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them, or to delete them. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To delete everything at once, use Delete my details below. To ask anything else, please use Contact Us.
If you're unhappy with how we've used your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Delete my details
We'll email you a link to confirm. Then we delete your membership, your replies, any messages you sent us and your place on the mailing list. You can join again any time.
